Karl Rove, the erstwhile Bushie coordinator of elections, has a starring role in Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) new book, A Time For Truth: Reigniting the Promise of America. And contrary to his endless efforts to be the center of attention on Fox News, Rove doesn’t seem to dig Cruz’s spotlight.
In 2009, Cruz sought some advice but also received a little donation from the patriarch of the Bush family, former president George H.W. Bush.
Reacting to the news of the donation, Rove told Cruz that he did not believe that the Senior Bush had the capacity to make his own decisions about who to endorse for the Texas State Attorney General race.
