Fools Rush In (When will They Ever Learn?)

Once again the corporate media tars a conservative candidate and those who should know better rush in without waiting at least 24 hours for the half-truths and lies to unravel. This week the target was Dr. Ben Carson and the reason and charge were patent: He’s a Black Republican so obviously honest and sincere the media wolves tried to knock him out of contention by claiming he lied.

Carson: Syria plan would focus on Putin

Washington (CNN)Ben Carson laid out his plan for handling war-torn Syria on Sunday, with a heavy focus on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"My much bigger plan involves, you know, Putin and Iran also," Carson said on ABC's "This Week" Sunday. "Those are the forces that are propping up the Assad regime. And even though Putin came in there and said he was going to fight ISIS, he's really fighting the anti-Assad forces. What we need to be thinking about is how do we oppose him?"

"I have plenty of energy. But, you know, I am soft-spoken. I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn't always like that. There was a time when I was, you know, very volatile," Carson told NBC News. Ben Carson’s Education Department Would Police Universities for Bias

Unlike some conservatives, Ben Carson doesn’t want to shut down the Education Department—no, he wants to use it to punish universities that demonstrate “extreme” political bias. That’s according to an interview he gave to The Blaze’s Glenn Beck:
I actually have something I would use the department of education to do. It would be to monitor our institutions of higher education for extreme political bias and deny federal funding on that basis.

So good: Ben Carson goes to National Press Club and tells media how awful they are

The press are your enemy. Treat them that way and don't back down. Not only is it the way to get elected, it's the way to govern too.
Last week Rob explained one of the main reasons Donald Trump continues to lead the Republican nomination race, in spite of having spent only $2 million on his campaign so far. In essence, Trump understands what traditional Republican candidates don’t about how to deal with the media: Don’t take their crap, don’t let them intimidate you and don’t be afraid to call them on their idiocy and dishonesty.

Dr. Ben Carson has joined the growing chorus of outrage over Russian President Vladimir Putin's military muscle flexing, telling Newsmax TV a no-fly zone should be created along the Turkish border. A sophisticated missile defense system should also be put in place to keep Russia's fighter jets in check, according to Carson, a retired pediatric neurosurgeon seeking the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

Ben Carson’s Response to PC Outrage Is Smarter than Trump’s

For the fourth time this week, Ben Carson finds himself embroiled in controversy. This time, he’s in trouble with the Left for declaring that, “the likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish his goals would have been greatly diminished if the people had been armed.” Before that, he caught flack for saying that people should rush mass shooters, that the loss of constitutional liberties is “more devastating” than a body with bullet wounds, and that not “every lifestyle is exactly of the same value.”
The list could go on — Carson has been touching off such online tempests for months.

Her post has since been deleted, but not before a screenshot of it was captured, according to an article in Campus Reform.

Carson: Terrorists 'would be fools' not to try infiltrating refugees

GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson said on Friday that he opposes admitting Syrian refugees inside America’s borders.
“To bring into this country groups infiltrated with jihadists makes no sense,” he told listeners in Des Moines, according to ABC News.
“At some point you have to use common sense and judgment,” Carson said. "If you are part of the global jihadist movement, and you see large numbers of people from your area moving into the United States, wouldn’t you want to infiltrate them?”

Ben Carson uses empowerment message in bid to sway black voters

Ben Carson is hoping to awaken black voters to his campaign with a message of economic empowerment, saying the black community has been done a disservice by heeding political power overtures from Democrats. Speaking to a small group of black leaders and activists last week, the retired neurosurgeon, who is surging in polling in the Republican presidential race, said he believes black Americans bring more power through the size of their bank account than by putting their “fist in the air.”
