Ted Cruz gets support of well-loved black evangelical leader who cites his 'authentic faith in Jesus Christ'

   Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has just won over another prominent evangelical leader. This time, the Texas senator received the endorsement of one of Virginia's most well-loved African-American pastors-Bishop. E.W. Jackson of Fall Church.
   Jackson raved about Cruz's "authentic faith in Jesus Christ" and has committed to back him up in his quest for the White House.

Ted Cruz taps former Pilgrim’s Pride president to lead campaign faith outreach

Sen. Ted Cruz’s campaign on Thursday named, Lindy M. “Buddy” Pilgrim, the former president of poultry giant Pilgrim’s Pride, to lead its faith outreach initiative.


Pilgrim, an ordained minister, will serve as National Director of the Faith and Religious Liberties Coalition. Along with leading the multi-billion dollar poultry company from 1993 to 1998, Pilgrim was a top bundler for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee’s 2008 presidential campaign, and has a long track record in conservative politics.

Trump Slams Carson’s Faith, Says He Had ‘Horrendous’ Abortion Views, Was ‘Perhaps An Okay Doctor’

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump shot back at fellow GOP candidate Dr. Ben Carson for his criticism of Trump’s faith, slamming Carson’s faith, accusing him of holding “horrendous” positions on abortion, and stating Carson was “perhaps an okay doctor” on Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day.”

Sanders and Trump: Two Peas in a Pod?

A new chapter in American politics has begun.
Millions of Americans on the right and left have lost faith in their political parties, their government and even the economic system. Only 1 in 4 Americans are satisfied with the way things are going.
Policy experts will offer various arguments why at least some of these people are wrong to feel this way, but the discontented will not tolerate arguments that amount to "don't believe your lying eyes – or wallets." In politics, feelings are more important than hard numbers.
