Self-deportation was the mantra of the Mitt Romney campaign. At the time, it was seen as a kinder and gentler alternative to forcibly deporting illegal aliens, because even Republicans became afraid of being supportive of enforcing our immigration laws, for fear of being viewed as cruel or heartless by the liberal media.

Illegal Immigrants Could Elect Hillary
Illegal immigrants—along with other noncitizens without the right to vote—may pick the 2016 presidential winner. Thanks to the unique math undergirding the Electoral College, the mere presence of 11-12 million illegal immigrants and other noncitizens here legally may enable them to swing the election from Republicans to Democrats.

Poll reveals huge majority support mandatory deporting of illegals
The headline from Investor’s Business Daily on their own poll uses the word “shock” – “Shock Poll: 59% Back Trump On Deportation of Illegals.” But as Jared Peterson wrote on these pages yesterday, for the last two years Rasmussen polling has demonstrated a huge gap between the overwhelming majority of Americans and the political establishment of the GOP on immigration policy. The IBD polling, which mentions mandatory deportation, reinforces this stunning disconnect between politicians and the people they supposedly serve, a chasm that Donald Trump has spotted and used to his huge advantage. IBD editorializes:

Scott Walker shows how it's done confronting video ambush by illegal alien family
The illegal immigration activists who set up a video ambush of Scott Walker in Plainfield, Iowa thought they could really embarrass him, but Walker deftly turned the tables on them. The Washington Post’s account: (video below)
As presidential hopeful Scott Walker toured a farm in this tiny town where he lived as a child, he was confronted by an undocumented worker from Mexico who is living in Wisconsin and demanded to know why Walker does not support President Obama's plan to give temporary status to some undocumented workers, including parents of children who were born in the United States.

Border Reports Back Up Trump's 'Rapists' Claim
Donald Trump has been under fire for remarks he made on illegal immigrants during the announcement of his candidacy. "The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems," He said. "When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
While the remarks are certainly blunt, they're not inherently wrong. Border Patrol seized just under $3.5M worth of marijuana from Mexican nationals in Arizona this past Thursday alone. There's also been 40 cases of sex abuse by illegal aliens this year, and that's just from what Border Patrol has posted as media releases on their website. A staggering amount of those cases involve children and minors.

Trump on Mexico Comments: ‘I Can’t Apologize for the Truth’
Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “MediaBuzz,” Republican presidential candidate and billionaire business mogul Donald Trump addressed his controversial comments on some Mexican immigrants being rapist and murderers said he was simply commenting on media reports on border crime, therefore he “can never apologize for the truth.”
Host Howard Kurtz asked if he should apologize.

Could non-citizens decide the November election?
Could control of the Senate in 2014 be decided by illegal votes cast by non-citizens? Some argue that incidents of voting by non-citizens are so rare as to be inconsequential, with efforts to block fraud a screen for an agenda to prevent poor and minority voters from exercising the franchise, while others define such incidents as a threat to democracy itself. Both sides depend more heavily on anecdotes than data.
