California, where the GOP is so weak that it just got locked out of a Senate election because it didn’t have the numbers to place a Republican in the top two in a jungle primary. I think Trump can win the election. I … do not think he’s going to muster a Reaganesque landslide, which is what would be in the offing if California and New Jersey end up in play.

I could vote for Ted Cruz in the California primary, I realized as I learned the senator from Texas won not only his home state on Super Tuesday but also Oklahoma. Cruz also beat Donald Trump in the Iowa caucuses and claimed the top spot in the Alaska caucuses Tuesday.

California Republican Assembly endorses Ted Cruz for President

The influential California Republican Assembly on Sunday endorsed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for president. Cruz received the required two-thirds majority on the first ballot at the group's convention in Buena Park, the first time in 20 years a first-ballot endorsement for president has been made, according to California Republican Assembly President Tom Hudson.

Condoleezza Rice Leads Race to Replace Barbara Boxer in CA

The leader in the race to replace retiring U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in America’s most liberal state is… Republican Condoleezza Rice, according to a new Field Poll released Wednesday. Rice, the former Secretary of State and Stanford don, is backed by 49% of voters–ahead of Attorney General Kamala Harris, the liberal Democrat who was the first to declare.
