Trump goes for broke in NH

Donald Trump is ramping up his ground game and promising a heavy advertising campaign in the homestretch to New Hampshire's Feb. 9 primary.  Trump's campaign has announced that more than 200 town chairmen in New Hampshire will be helping him put up signs and get people to the polls.  He also is vowing to launch a $2 million ad buy in New Hampshire and South Carolina, where he has healthy leads in polls, and in Iowa, where he now trails Sen. Fiorina: Not time for campaign ads yet

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina says her campaign is in it for the long haul, and as such it’s not yet the right moment to begin a campaign ad blitz.
“There will come a time for ads, but honestly, other candidates have already spent millions on ads and it’s done nothing for them. So I think the time is not yet,” she said Friday in South Carolina, according to the New York Times.

Planning ahead: Jeb Bush reserves TV ad time in early primary states

Amid the concerns of top financial donors that he's lagging too far behind in polls, Jeb Bush signaled on Monday that he's got plenty of money in the bank to stay on the campaign trail leading up to next year's early primaries. The Bush campaign announced plans to reserve -- but not outright buy -- $7.8 million in television advertisement time in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina in January and February. By reserving time, a campaign is able to lock in a certain ad rate in advance and get first dibs on the best time slots before other campaigns and super PACs try doing the same thing at a later point.

Soros-backed, Bush-led immigration group plans attack ad for CNN debate

The National Immigration Forum Action Fund (NITAF) is preparing to air ads that will attack GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for championing immigration positions that serve the interests of Americans. The ad, titled “Better,” is set to run during Wednesday’s CNN debate. It shows clips of former president Ronald Reagan’s 1989 farewell speech, sans context, with the three GOP contenders prescribing policy solutions to end unchecked, unpopular mass immigration. It minces Reagan’s words to make him appear soft and non-threatening, a kindly grandpa rather than one of the most successful presidents in U.S. history who faced down the Soviet Union. Jeb Bush Iowa Ad Buy Spends Millions Of Super PAC Money Ahead Of GOP Primary

Jeb Bush is struggling in Iowa, but his campaign isn't giving up. Showing off the strength of the massive fundraising effort undertaken earlier this year that resulted in over $100 million in funds raised to support the former Florida governor's presidential bid, the campaign spent $5.89 million on Iowa advertising purchases this week, with more ad buys expected to come. "It's a muscular buy for a muscular story," Mike Murphy, the chief strategist for Right to Rise USA, the super PAC supporting Bush that bought the ads, told the Des Moines Register.

Jeb Bush super PAC to spend upwards of $15M in first major ad blitz

The Jeb Bush Right to Rise super PAC will spend upwards of $15 million on its first major TV advertising blitz since raising $100 million to support the former Florida governor’s bid for the GOP presidential nomination, Fox News has learned.
Previous reports had underestimated the amount the high-powered PAC, headed by Republican political strategist Mike Murphy, will invest in the large ad buy, according to a source familiar with the specifics of the media campaign.

Jeb Bush super PAC spending $10 million on ads in early primary states

The powerfully funded super PAC backing Republican Jeb Bush will spend at least $10 million on television time in the earliest voting presidential primary states, the first salvo in a massive TV ad campaign to support the former Florida governor's bid for the Republican nomination. Officials with Right to Rise USA say they will buy time in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina TV markets and on cable television in the three states. Ads are scheduled to begin in Iowa and New Hampshire on Sept. 15, in South Carolina a week later and then run continuously through the end of the year.
