Now you’ve done it, Republicans. You’ve disappointed John Kasich. In a Wednesday interview with The Washington Post, Kasich — continuing his sad presidential campaign’s efforts to equate Ted Cruz with Donald Trump — whined about being one of few Republicans who cares about ideas.

HuffPo: Don’t be fooled. Kasich will win the nomination
I’ve heard a lot of predictions about the outcome of the GOP primary this week, but to say that there’s some sort of consensus forming would be a bit of an exaggeration to put it mildly. Echoing the sentiments of some of the guests on the cable news morning shows, Lawnewz said that Trump still wins the whole thing once he gets to wrangle for a few missing delegates coming into Cleveland.

Kasich’s Second Amendment Problem
Governor John Kasich’s hopes that he had overcome the anti-gun reputation he had earned for supporting the Clinton Gun Ban in 1994 may now be dashed, after he told two separate Sunday talk shows that he is considering nominating a Supreme Court justice who might abolish the Second Amendment.

Commentary: John Kasich, not Ted Cruz, is the one to stop Donald Trump
Step right up, folks, to the Ted Cruz-John Kasich game. The aim is to push out the candidate who could win in November in favor of the one who can't.

Why is this Anti-Gun, “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” Candidate still Running for President?
Tim Macy, Chairman of Gun Owners of America, wrote an open letter to Second Amendment supporters exposing Republican presidential candidate John Kasich’s real anti-gun agenda.Labeling Kasich the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” still in the presidential race, Macy points to Kasich’s close relationship with Leftist, Communist, billionaire George Soros. On Tuesday night as return after return came in and Marco Rubio failed to break through, many establishment Republicans grew angrier that John Kasich was still in the race. John Kasich’s Shameful Treatment of the Victims of Left-Wing Hatred
Presidential candidates can have an impact on culture. Above everything else, they have the capacity to decide how to frame the issues and push them to their opponents, in the primary and in the general election.I was very grateful to Hugh Hewitt for bringing up religious liberty at the CNN GOP debate in Houston, as the question that is "keeping him up at night." Here's the full exchange with all the candidates:Read more at National Review

Has John Kasich blown his Christian cred?
Has John Kasich blown his Christian cred? Kasich has built some of his following on his reputation as a sincere (if somewhat offbeat) Christian conservative. In November, for example, he called for a new government agency to promote "Judeo-Christian values." But tonight, when presented with a question about religious liberty, Kasich seemed to advance a rather different set of priorities.

"Of course I'm staying in the race. Why would I drop out when I've got the best chance to be the nominee outside of Trump?" He also warned that without him Trump would be the nominee, "If I get out, which I'm not going to do. Trump is absolutely going to be the nominee. End of story."
A few die-hard Kasich fans were at the event, but most attendees were undecided and came to hear Kasich's talking points.

The Kasich Campaign’s Next Moves
The next stops for Kasich are the primaries in New England. Vermont and Massachusetts, whose media markets at points overlap with New Hampshire, where Kasich practically lived for the past several months, both hold primaries on March 1. The Maine primary follows on March 5. Those around Kasich believe he can capitalize on his investment in New Hampshire with voters in those surrounding states.

See How John Kasich Answers When Voter Asks Why She Should Vote for Him in the ‘Democratic Primary’
